GAO Tells Government To Rethink $200M Aircraft Contract

Law360, New York (September 13, 2013, 4:43 PM EDT) -- The Government Accountability Office has agreed that the U.S. Coast Guard unfairly evaluated TIMCO Aviation Services' bid for a contract to perform aircraft inspections, sustaining the North Carolina company's protest against DRS Technical Services Inc. winning the $200 million contract, according to a decision made public Thursday.
