$60M Barclays Fraud Case Moves To Federal Court

Law360 (February 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A battle between a major private equity fund and one of the world's largest investment banks over an alleged $60 million fraud will be decided by a federal court, now that the bank has successfully petitioned for transfer from a Texas state court.

Barclays PLC asked that the case filed against the bank by Lone Star Funds Inc. be heard in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, a request that the court granted in a ruling on Feb. 13.
