NJ Court OKs Consumer Claim Over Landlord Attys' Fees

Law360, New York (September 17, 2013, 5:00 PM EDT) -- Renters in New Jersey can pursue a consumer fraud claim against their landlords over attorneys' fees required for eviction actions that allegedly have no connection to the true costs, the state's Supreme Court ruled Tuesday in a putative class action.
