On 2nd Try, Chobani Gets Yogurt Labeling Suit Tossed

Law360, New York (September 20, 2013, 4:51 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge dismissed a proposed food-labeling class action against Chobani Inc. in its entirety on Thursday, two months after she vacated, with the plaintiffs' blessing, a previous decision dismissing only a portion of the lawsuit.

U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh granted both Chobani's motion to reconsider the previous ruling and its motion to dismiss all of the claims brought by plaintiffs Katie Kane, Arianna Rosales and Darla Booth. The trio alleged that Chobani deceptively labeled the ingredients in its yogurt products.
