John Crane Fights $14M Punitive Award In Asbestos Case

Law360, Los Angeles (September 19, 2013, 9:49 PM EDT) -- John Crane Inc. urged a California appeals court Thursday to toss a $14.5 million punitive damages award to a former Navy technician who developed an asbestos-related cancer, saying it did not know he would be exposed to dangerous asbestos levels while working with its products.
