GAO Rejects Symvionics' Protest Against NASA Contract

Law360, New York (September 20, 2013, 2:51 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office on Thursday tossed California-based Symvionics Inc.'s bid protest against a NASA research and engineering support contract, finding that the agency didn't unfairly favor proposals that included a government-approved purchasing system.

Symvionics' allegations that NASA gave preference to bidders with a government-approved purchasing system are “mere speculation,” the GAO said.
