Mass. Regulators May Extend Negotiation Time For Bidders

Law360, New York (September 20, 2013, 3:06 PM EDT) -- Bidders for Massachusetts' new gaming licenses may be given more time to strike deals with the cities and towns surrounding their proposed projects, regulators said Thursday.

With deadlines looming, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission will decide in early October whether or not to give the various license applicants more time to finish striking surrounding community agreements for their proposed casino resorts and slots parlor projects.
