Harris Joins Protests of $7B Air Force Netcents Contract

Law360, New York (September 20, 2013, 8:07 PM EDT) -- Harris IT Corp. has joined the wave of protesters objecting to a $6.9 billion Air Force contract for telecommunications products, part of the Air Force's massive NetCents-2 network procurement, which spans seven different multiaward contracts and tops out at around $24 billion.

Harris's protest, filed Sept. 16, joins six other protests over the commodities and products portion of NetCents-2. Presidio Networked Solutions Inc., Dell Federal Systems LP, Force 3 Inc., PCMG, FCN Inc. and Sterling Computers Corp. all filed protests earlier in September.
