Hurt Worker Sues Builders Over Miami Garage Collapse

Law360, Miami (September 24, 2013, 3:53 PM EDT) -- A construction worker and his wife have filed a negligence suit in Florida state court against the builders erecting a $22 million Miami Dade College parking garage that collapsed in October 2012, killing four other workers.

Juan Carlos Fernandez and Ines Ivonne Munoz are seeking damages for injuries, including post-traumatic stress disorder, they say Fernandez suffered as a result of the collapse.
