Bloomberg Probably A No-Show At CityTime Trial

Law360, New York (September 24, 2013, 7:32 PM EDT) -- New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg will likely not be forced to testify in the upcoming trial of a key figure accused of taking kickbacks in the alleged CityTime payroll scheme, a federal judge said Tuesday.

U.S. District Judge George Daniels said he would likely not grant a defense request to force Bloomberg to take the stand in the case against Mark Mazer, a former consultant on the CityTime project.
