Housing Watchdog Adds Cities To BofA Discrimination Row

Law360, New York (September 25, 2013, 5:50 PM EDT) -- The National Fair Housing Alliance has broadened its claims against Bank of America Corp. accusing it of discriminating against maintaining foreclosed houses in minority neighborhoods, expanding its complaint to five new cities, the group said Wednesday.

The housing discrimination watchdog amended its complaint first filed a year ago to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, adding Denver, Las Vegas, Memphis, Philadelphia and Tucson to the list of cities in which Bank of America has allegedly discriminated against maintaining foreclosed houses in minority neighborhoods. The addition...
