Jackson's Own 'Bad Choices' Caused Death, AEG Live Argues

Law360, Los Angeles (September 25, 2013, 5:25 PM EDT) -- AEG Live LLC should not be held responsible for Michael Jackson's “bad choices,” the concert promoter argued Wednesday in the Jackson family's wrongful-death suit, saying it had “no idea” the doctor he insisted on hiring was treating his insomnia with a powerful anesthetic.

AEG told a Los Angeles Superior Court jury that it was Jackson who chose Dr. Conrad Murray to treat him as he was preparing for his “This Is It” comeback tour and it was Jackson who demanded the anesthetic propofol to help him...
