Facebook Wins $3M Award In IP, Spamming Case

Law360, Los Angeles (September 25, 2013, 8:36 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday awarded Facebook Inc. $3 million in damages and granted the company a permanent injunction in its unfair competition lawsuit against Power Ventures Inc. and its founder over alleged violations of copyright and spamming laws.
