Law360, Houston (September 26, 2013, 8:41 PM EDT) -- Hopewell Culture & Design LLC told a Texas federal court Thursday that it had reached a settlement with Microsoft Corp., which became the latest of a string of defendants to resolve patent infringement litigation over double-clicking technology used in smartphones and tablets.
Hopewell, a Plano, Texas-based patent-holding company, filed a motion with the court asking that the case be dismissed with prejudice, saying it reached a patent licensing and settlement agreement with Microsoft on Monday.
