US Blasts Ex-Aeropostale Exec's $25M Foreiture Opposition

Law360, New York (September 30, 2013, 3:58 PM EDT) -- New York authorities on Friday fired back at a convicted former Aeropostale Inc. executive who in June objected to the store's calculated losses in the $350 million kickback scheme he had orchestrated, arguing that Aeropostale is entitled to $25 million in restitution.

Christopher Finazzo had argued that the store didn't suffer any losses from his alleged scheme, claiming that the government's presentence investigation report neglected to reflect that the jury didn't find him guilty of intentionally depriving the store of money, according to court documents.
