DOD Tests Limits Of Law That Pays Troops During Shutdown

Law360, New York (October 1, 2013, 4:10 PM EDT) -- Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said Tuesday that his legal team is exploring the limits of a new military pay law that was quickly passed Monday, seeking to find some flexibility to pay civilian employees and contractors that support military operations during the government shutdown.
