Pratt & Whitney Snags $2.5B Contract For Weapons Parts

Law360, New York (October 1, 2013, 4:59 PM EDT) -- Pratt & Whitney has been awarded a $2.5 billion contract to provide spare parts for weapons systems to the government, the Defense Logistics Agency said on Tuesday.

The items awarded are in multiple federal supply classes and will be used in various weapons systems, including aircraft, engines and helicopters, the agency told Law360 in a statement. The performance completion date is set for September 2018.
