DOD To Award, But Not Announce, Contracts During Shutdown

Law360, New York (October 3, 2013, 7:24 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Defense will continue to award large contracts during the ongoing federal government shutdown, but won't announce them until the government is back up and running, a spokesman for the Pentagon told Law360 on Thursday.
