Gov't Shutdown Stalls FTC's Bid To Jail Infomercial Star

Law360, Chicago (October 3, 2013, 5:28 PM EDT) -- The government shutdown has thrown a wrench into the Federal Trade Commission’s pursuit of an infomercial salesman who has allegedly been dodging a $37.6 million judgment for making spurious claims about his dieting books, according to court documents filed Tuesday.
