Fla. Law Firm Sues Taylor Bean Ex-Chair Over Retainer

Law360, Miami (October 3, 2013, 7:07 PM EDT) -- Miami law firm Houlihan & Partners PA filed suit in Florida state court Wednesday seeking approval to apply funds from a retainer paid by Lee Bentley Farkas — convicted $2.9 billion fraudster and ex-chairman of Taylor Bean & Whitaker Mortgage Corp. — to pay outstanding fees he owes the firm, despite his objections.
