Wal-Mart Customers Denied Class Cert. In Credit Card Row

Law360, New York (October 7, 2013, 5:15 PM EDT) -- Customers of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. failed to persuade a California federal judge to certify them in the proposed class action accusing the big box retailer of requiring the customers to provide their telephone numbers and addresses as part of their credit card purchases, according to an order issued Thursday.
