Scientists Back US Estimate For Deepwater Horizon Spill

Law360, New Orleans (October 8, 2013, 2:34 PM EDT) -- The U.S. government received support for its disputed oil spill estimate during the Deepwater Horizon federal civil trial on Tuesday, as scientists testified that pressure data from BP PLC’s damaged Macondo well and estimates provided by the oil giant support the federal figure.
