Jacobs Engineering Scores Big BP, NASA Contracts

Law360, New York (October 8, 2013, 3:37 PM EDT) -- Jacobs Engineering Group announced that it won two contracts Tuesday: renovation of a BP PLC oil and gas production plant in Scotland as part of a $200 million project and maintenance to NASA's Langley Research Center in Virginia with a maximum value of $742 million.

Jacobs will perform engineering and construction on the Sullom Voe Terminal on Shetland Island, where BP is spending $200 million to renovate the aging facility to bring it up to modern standards and exploit new nearby hydrocarbon developments. The NASA contract...
