FAA Recalls 800 Furloughed Aircraft Safety Inspectors

Law360, New York (October 9, 2013, 1:43 PM EDT) -- Approximately 800 Federal Aviation Administration safety inspectors furloughed by the U.S. Department of Transportation as a result of the ongoing government shutdown will be brought back, an aviation regulator said Monday citing an "essential" need to provide oversight to aircraft manufacturers across the U.S.
