Trucking Co. Spurns Pilot Flying J Deal, Launches Own Suit

Law360, New York (October 9, 2013, 6:15 PM EDT) -- An Ohio-based trucking company has opted out of the settlement of a mammoth class action accusing Pilot Flying J — the truck stop operator run by Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam — of cheating truckers out of agreed-upon fuel rebates, which came after an FBI investigation into the alleged misconduct, and on Tuesday launched its own suit.
