Former WebMD Execs Indicted For Fraud

Law360 (December 16, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- A subsidiary of online medical hub WebMD Corp. is at the center of a U.S. Justice Department investigation after 10 of its previous executives were indicted for allegedly inflating earnings by more than $16.8 million.

Former Medical Manager Health Systems Inc. chief executive officer Mickey Singer is among the executives charged in the investigation. The group was also were charged with money laundering in connection with the proceeds of the scheme, which took place between 1997 and 2001.
