Bayer Escapes 60 Suits In Mass Tort Over Yaz, Yasmin

Law360, New York (October 16, 2013, 10:12 PM EDT) -- Bayer Corp. was relieved of more than 60 suits in New Jersey state court, in pending multicounty litigation over gallbladder injuries linked to the company's Yaz and Yasmin birth control pills, after a special master recommended the dismissals this month because preservation notices weren’t filed.
