Rock Band Great White Says Venue Infringed Trademark

Law360, New York (October 17, 2013, 3:09 PM EDT) -- The glam metal band Great White filed a trademark infringement suit against a California live-music venue Wednesday alleging the owner is falsely advertising an upcoming event as a performance by the '80s rock group when the show will actually feature a cover band led by Great White's ex-vocalist.

The original Great White said Los Angeles-based Sterling Venue Ventures LLC posted a prominent sign along a well-traveled highway falsely announcing that the platinum rock band — known for its hits "Rock Me" and "Save Your Love" off...
