Yoko Ono Sues Manhattan Co-Op Over Loss of $6.6M Sale

Law360, Los Angeles (October 17, 2013, 6:52 PM EDT) -- Artist and musician Yoko Ono is suing the co-op board of her New York penthouse for $6.6 million for blocking her from selling the apartment, saying in a suit filed Wednesday the board's policies were engineered to keep her from being able to sell.

Ono said the board of her co-op building refused to interview a family that had made an offer on her penthouse, then changed the building's renovation policy to prevent Ono from ever repairing or updating the home, she alleged in a complaint...
