Touchstone Escapes Last Claim In 'Desperate Housewives' Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (October 18, 2013, 3:11 PM EDT) -- A California judge on Friday threw out former "Desperate Housewives" star Nicollette Sheridan's remaining claim in her legal battle with Touchstone Television Productions LLC alleging she was fired for complaining that producer Mark Cherry struck her in the head.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael L. Stern had previously denied Touchstone's motion to dismiss the claim based on the argument that Sheridan didn't exhaust her administrative remedies before she sued the company in April 2010.
