Fla. Appeals Court Remands $17M Dispute Over Foreclosure

Law360, Miami (October 21, 2013, 6:40 PM EDT) -- A Florida appeals court Friday reversed a summary judgment order dismissing a foreclosure suit brought by a series of companies that invested in a $16.8 million office complex, citing a dispute about the loan's maturity date.

Florida's Second District Court of Appeal reversed the summary judgment order and remanded the case to the trial court to re-examine the loan documents and determine whether the maturity date was March 1, 2011 or 2012.
