Axis Can't Force Hartford To Pitch In For $6M Clearwire Deal

Law360, New York (October 21, 2013, 3:14 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Thursday refused Axis Surplus Insurance Co.'s efforts to put Hartford Accident & Indemnity Co. on the hook for a slice of a $6 million Clearwire Corp. autodialing class action settlement, saying a policy with Clearwire founder Craig McCaw's venture capital firm provides no coverage.
