21 Ariz. Air National Guardsmen Indicted In $1.4M Scheme

Law360, Los Angeles (October 21, 2013, 8:00 PM EDT) -- Twenty-one men and women who served in the 214th Reconnaissance Group of the Arizona Air National Guard have been indicted for allegedly receiving more than $1.4 million in federal money by falsifying military records, Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne announced Monday.

The high-profile military group, which includes eight officers and 13 enlisted, is accused of intentionally falsifying records and using fake home addresses in order to receive Temporary Duty Disbursements, money meant for military members who are on short-term orders and traveling outside their home.
