Calif. Extends The Reach Of Renewables

Law360, New York (October 22, 2013, 12:50 PM EDT) -- The 2013 legislative session in California included the adoption of several bills designed to expand options for individuals and organizations to participate in the state’s evolving solar economy. The new measures, which will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2014, include renewed support for traditional solar incentives, such as net metering (the ability of utility customers with solar systems to get credit for feeding renewable energy back into the utility’s grid).
