DMX Ruff Ryding Through Ch. 11, Bankruptcy Watchdog Says

Law360, New York (October 22, 2013, 7:35 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice is attempting to shut down DMX's Chapter 11 proceeding, telling a New York bankruptcy court Friday that the rapper has failed to show up to creditor meetings and that his financial statements are in “disarray.”

U.S. Trustee Tracy Hope Davis told the court in a motion that DMX's “gross mismanagement” of his bankruptcy thus far warrants either a dismissal or conversion to a Chapter 7 liquidation, wherein the rapper would be forced to surrender his assets in order to repay creditors....
