Enzo's Contract Claims Over DNA Testing Tech Tossed

Law360, Los Angeles (October 22, 2013, 8:08 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Tuesday tossed the remainder of a lawsuit by Enzo Biochem Inc. accusing Amersham PLC of violating a distribution agreement for DNA testing technology and unfair competition, saying all the claims are time-barred or without merit. 

U.S. District Judge Richard J. Sullivan granted Amersham summary judgment on Enzo's claims of breach of contract, tortious interference and unfair competition, ending a decade-old action. The judge in September 2012 granted Amersham summary judgment as to Enzo's patent infringement claims.
