Court Declines To Nix $10M Suit In Hospital Management Row

Law360, Houston (October 23, 2013, 8:54 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge on Tuesday declined to dismiss a $10 million suit between two hospital management groups, saying there is evidence that a partnership agreement involving a San Antonio hospital was breached when one of the partners diverted revenues into a liability fund.

U.S. District Judge Xavier Rodriguez denied San Antonio Hospital Management Inc.’s motion to dismiss the suit, saying that SAHH Hospital Management Inc. had sufficiently shown proof of its claims for breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty based on SAHMI’s decision...
