Privacy Concerns Nix Bankruptcy Sale Of Dating Site Data

Law360, New York (October 24, 2013, 1:31 PM EDT) -- Dating website Plentyoffish Media Inc. on Wednesday withdrew its bid to purchase personal information for 43 million subscribers from bankrupt Texas-based rival True Beginnings LLC, saying the company does not appear to have the unrestricted right to sell its customers' private data.
