Texas High Court Asked To Nix $7.5M Excess Coverage Award

Law360, Houston (October 24, 2013, 6:27 PM EDT) -- RSUI Indemnity Co. asked the Texas Supreme Court on Wednesday to reject a $7.5 million excess coverage award to The Lynd Co. for damage caused to apartment buildings during 2005’s Hurricane Rita, saying a lower appeals court had misconstrued liability limits in Lynd’s insurance policy.
