NAD Sides With AT&T In Internet Ad Feud, Issues Guidance

Law360, Chicago (October 24, 2013, 5:50 PM EDT) -- The advertising industry’s self-regulator Wednesday upheld AT&T Services Inc.‘s challenge to disparaging claims made about its Internet service's speed in a Comcast Communications Inc. commercial, reminding advertisers they must abandon underlying claims — not just a particular advertisement — in order to squelch an administrative proceeding.
