Seaman Wants BP On Hook For $2.7M Deepwater Deal

Law360, New York (October 25, 2013, 5:02 PM EDT) -- A Tidewater Inc. seaman on Friday urged a Louisiana federal court to enforce a $2.7 million settlement offer allegedly extended by BP PLC’s Deepwater Horizon claims facility for trauma he sustained rescuing survivors of the disaster, saying the deal was valid the moment he agreed to it.
