NYC Bike Share Station Survives Community Challenge

Law360, New York (October 28, 2013, 3:04 PM EDT) -- A New York state judge on Friday threw out a community group's petition to remove a public bicycle sharing station from Petrosino Square in the SoHo section of Manhattan.

Judge Cynthia Kern found that the DOT wasn't arbitrary or capricious in choosing to install the station on the north side of the park and that the bike share program serves a park purpose.
