Catholic Media Co., Ala. Again Fight Contraception Rule

Law360, New York (October 28, 2013, 5:36 PM EDT) -- Catholic media company Eternal Word Television Network Inc. and the state of Alabama renewed their efforts to stop the government from enforcing the Affordable Care Act's contraception mandate, according to a suit filed Monday in Alabama federal court.

The lawsuit marks the second time the religious media network and Alabama have taken the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to court over the 2012 mandate that requires all health plans to provide U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved contraceptives such as birth control pills, emergency contraceptives...
