Judge Slashes Attys' Fees In $4.9M Starbucks Wage Deal

Law360, Los Angeles (October 28, 2013, 3:20 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Monday gave final approval to a $4.9 million settlement of a wage-and-hour class action against Starbucks Corp. — a deal that includes a $1.9 million attorneys' fee award representing less than half of what plaintiffs' counsel originally requested.
