Calif. Appeals Court Upholds Mattel Board Game Win

Law360, Los Angeles (October 29, 2013, 10:20 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court on Tuesday upheld Mattel's win in a lawsuit over its alleged failure to abide by a licensing contract for the board game Outburst: The Game of Verbal Explosions, ruling that all the damages the plaintiff is seeking are either not recoverable or barred by the contract.
