Ex-Madoff Employee Links Defendants To Fraud Conspiracy

Law360, New York (October 30, 2013, 8:27 PM EDT) -- A former Bernard Madoff employee testified Wednesday that he conspired with others at his firm to break securities laws, naming two of five defendants now on trial over their alleged involvement in Madoff’s Ponzi scheme.

David Kugel, who worked at Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC from 1970 until its collapse in December 2008, told jurors that he conspired with Madoff and other employees to violate securities laws.
