Norton Healthcare Shortchanged Early Retirees, Judge Says

Law360, New York (November 1, 2013, 7:56 PM EDT) -- A Kentucky federal judge Thursday found Norton Healthcare Inc. shortchanged early retirees' pensions and ordered the company to recalculate their monthly retirement income and lump-sum payments. 

U.S. District Judge Thomas B. Russell granted the early retirees partial summary judgment ordering Norton to recalculate the pension sums distributed to the early retirees and to take into account cost of living adjustments equivalent to the monthly retirement income.
