NYC Landlord Blocked From Evicting Steve Madden Store

Law360, New York (October 31, 2013, 7:15 PM EDT) -- A New York state judge on Wednesday delayed Crown Acquisitions' plan to evict Steve Madden Ltd. from its flagship location at 720 Lexington Ave. pending a Nov. 27 hearing, when the landlord will answer to claims that it withheld more than $560,000 in rent credits from the shoe retailer.
