Ex-Navy Engineer Gets 10 Years For $18M Kickback Scheme

Law360, Los Angeles (November 1, 2013, 3:20 PM EDT) -- A former naval engineer was sentenced on Friday to 10 years in federal prison for masterminding a massive, 15-year bribery and kickback scheme involving Navy contracts that defrauded the federal government of nearly $18 million, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Rhode Island.
