Ill. Court Reopens Coverage Feud Over Roof Collapse Suit

Law360, New York (November 5, 2013, 5:00 PM EST) -- An Illinois appeals court on Monday revived a builder's counterclaims against an insurer that refused to foot its settlement over a roof collapse at a newly constructed grain storage facility, finding there did not need to be a lawsuit against the builder for it to seek coverage.
